Dude I have the Wild Hare Edge, and its a solid plane.
If i had the cash though, I'd probally look at the BME Edge V1 or V2 there about the same size and a pound or two lighter !!! -Taylor-

I'v been thinking about the Carbon too.
How does the CF Gear hold up??? for about $150 in carbon, I can get down to around 16.5-17.0 lbs. How does it fly compared to your freinds 18 lb'er???

The things that stand out to me the most is mine tumbles a little better and there is less wing rock during harriers..Also mine pulls out of a hover a little quicker I thinking the wing loadings are different with the decreased weight...other than that they both land like a feather..
I got the wing tube from Gene at TBM and so far its perfect..I dont have CF gear, I got the painted yellow fiberglass gear that Tom used to sell..I didnt bother with the stab tube..its stock |

So in your opinion??? Is it worth it?
I figure if I learn to huck with the weight I'll be better on my next plane.

I think so..I feel more comfortable on the deck with the lighter one cause it is quicker to respond..also when pulling ful elevator it pulls the nose up a lot faster which is good if your on the deck..and like I said before there is less wing rock on mine after I lightened it up.

I got this plane used, and I was just worried about putting so much money in this plane, and then I might crash it and take a hot from all the CF I bought, I guess maybe I can resell it.
One more thing, let's say your on a minimal budget, whats the biggest improvements you can get>? Aka what gives me the most weight loss for my buck? Also which mods to do for free? What to lighten??? I already have Fromecos and no pilot Thanks

I'm in Britain, so this model is double the price in the USA, so I need to make sure it is good, is anyone able to compare this to any other 50cc models that are available in the UK?
For lightening the model, have you fitted cf pushrods? Might save a little more weight. |

Right now, i ahe 4 5945's
and 1 8611 Pull-Pull on the rudder, 3 Fromeco's and regs 2400's Wheel pants ![]() and Slimline mufflers I guess I could go, no wheel pants, CF tube. Kavan tires, which save 5 0z! I just can't see it making that much of a dirrence. We Shall see!
