The one that you can burn more gas in will be the advantage.

The date getting pushed back is making me think about cancelling my order and getting a extreme flight. In stock and probably wont have any first run problems like the sukio is having.

Mike, why the delay? With it getting pushed back another four weeks, will this be the last delay or is their a chance of another delay before the end of may? I currently have one ordered through my local shop.

Thanks

Ken

Interested in this plane, but the horizon site says the 8411 is one of the recommended servos. However, it also say that at least 180 oz/in is required and the 8411 is only 155. Does that mean it can only be used if at 6 volts? I have 5 of these servos sitting around and need a home...

Thanks, in advance, for your advance.

Yes you are correct, it will take a battery pack of 6 volts or higher to get the required 180 in.oz. from a 8411. Seems like the trend is moving away from 4.8v to at least a 5 cell nicad pack if not the new A123 batteries or regulated lipos and relions in GS planes...

6v is pretty much standard. I think they assumed thats what people will run. You gain power, improve speed, lower current draw, less heat on the regulator if youre running one...

I think they figure everyone runs 6 volt anymore. On a side note, it might fit in a CT with the seat removed. Tom Baker

8411 are fine in the Yak. 6v is always a good idea in an aerobatic airplane for better performance and it is almost a standard anymore.

On the delay, I know its frustrating. Its even more frustrating for us. Our factory is behind in production. However I was there a few weeks ago and from the progress there and the info we have I feel the latest delivery should be good.

For anyone going to the Indy Intro to IMAC tomorrow, I'll have the Yak there too.
