Well, back to "MID JUNE" ......

The info on the website says the needed extensions are: 2 ea) 24", 2ea) 12" and 3ea) 9".
I'm guessing the 24" is for the elevator servos, the 12" is to get the leads out of the wings and into the fuse and the 9" is for the rudder mounted in the mid fuse and two aileron extensions from the receiver to the ailerons. The throttle servo wont need an extension.

I too heard from Horizon June 5th... Psycho that is two of us now!!! There is hope!!!

BTW since the Evolution cannister header doesn't wrap straight behind the motor I'll be using pitts wrap around too... Darnit I wanted to feel the 8.5 horseys gently pulling this plane around...
5955's all around with a 8711 on the rudder.

I called Horizon yesterday (May 28) .Their site said early June and in one day it jumped to mid June~ I asked Horizon was early June their final answer....I think she used all of the following "maybe, could be, hmm, probably, huh?, and something about Santa Claus and egg nog???? ***?? .Just kidding but it did jump since yesterday to mid June.

Check out these "swan neck headers" - I plan to order one as soon as I can trial fit the motor/canister on the plane > http://mvvs.nl/MVVS/main_bestanden/mufflers.html scrol about 2/3 down the page

LSU,
Is the Brillelli a 3.6 c.i. motor? If it is (or there abouts) it ought to be a red rocket! I'm going to use a motor I assembled from Sachs parts. It's a A&M based 3.7 Sachs that pulls a Mezlic 22-10 at a hair over 8000 rpm. The pull is something else! It weighs 4 lbs. 5 ounces and might shed a few more ounces with a little judicious use of an end mill. I'll be using a U.S. Quadra Pitts style smoke muffler. Since it is a side carb set up, I'm going to close off the motor box with some thin lite ply and or balsa to keep the inside a bit cleaner. The motor is a bit heavier than a DA so I'll probably have to toss the rudder servo in the trunk. I've heard good things about your motor (name brand) but haven't heard any figures on the one you've mentioned. I'm sure whatever we decide to put on our YAKs will be just fine, though!
WT
PS: All three of them gals probably look more like their mama than you! (That's a compliment son!)
