Glad to see you're still on here...... Sorry about all your dollars flying out the window while we wait on the YAK!

As I see it: The world economy is going into the crapper...... Everywhere you look prices are going up, oil & gas skyrocketing, food prices are through the roof. I have done my home work and have traced the problem DIRECTLY to Horizon Hobbies and the delay of this YAK! (Stay with me on this, I have proof!) Case in point: {1} Juva is spending lots of money to outfit this YAK..... His demand is high for the products he needs to outfit the YAK and the supply of these products has dwindled overnight! This takes the smaller R/C "mom & pop" businesses out of the picture leaving only Horizon Hobbies to control the market! Holy Microsoft monopoly, Batman!

{2} Scott Gerber and I have made numerous trips the the local hobby shop checking on this YAK so we've made a tremendous strain on the national oil reserves. Had Horizon Hobbies come through with the YAK in a responsible manner, we wouldn't have used all that gas, thereby sending the world into an oil and gas frenzy!

{3}Since we've all become a bunch of crying pansies over Horizon Hobbies NOT sending us our YAKs, we've had to continually meet in our homes to console one another. These meetings have strained our sanity and therefore the time we spend with the likes of Dr. Phil and Ruth Westheimer has forced us to EAT continually. This in turn has put a massive divot in the world food supply! Beer, popcorn, hot dogs, burgers, etc. are in short supply the world over! (What!? Don't tell me that NOT getting your Horizon/Carden YAK hasn't affected YOUR mental health as well as your sex life!!)

The way I see it, Horizon Hobbies has ruined the modeling community and scarred innocent YAK lovers everywhere. Take a good look at the 12X thread! Those guys were blithering idiots after waiting for the delivery date of their new 2.4 radios for AGES!! Now that they have them, there was an drop in the price of a barrel of oil for the first time in three months! (They now stay at home learning to program the thing and sit on the computer discussing how-to's....... This has alleviated a little of the demand for gasoline so the oil price took a minor dip!)

A little known event took place the other day: Clinton and Obama stopped fighting with one another for just a few minutes to address the critical situation with the missing YAK's. Even John McCain weighed in on the situation! All three came to the conclusion that Horizon Hobbies should be interrogated before a congressional committee immediately. Congress had scheduled another Roger Clemons hearing and had all the Big Oil Company CEO's ready for another day of intense grilling but they put it all on hold to track down Horizon Hobby officials to pin them down on an exact date these YAKs would arrive. One congressman (speaking on condition of anonymity) said that getting to the bottom of the world wide YAK controversy was a key in stabilizing the world market.
I figure all us YAK lovers need to step aside and let the government investigate this so we can at last find world peace! I have to go now......The guys in their little white coats want me off the computer so they can take me for some therapy. They're promising me that I can look at the YAK in the Horizon catalog if I come along quietly.........Where's my frequency pin? Who took my C/A? Does anybody have a wheel collar?

I guess there is some good that comes from all this......... While waiting days upon days for YAKs, the old creative writing class from college is starting to work for me............ Since my mind wanders from page to page on Flying Giants I am able to write line after line on here to fill the void! Ah well....... You also make a lot of friends on here while flinging enormous amounts of BS! I guess I have to go now..... I'd like to report back to you all on what the new arrival date for the website is. Just read it yesterday over on the "Back Order" thread! This is great news for the guys that sold off a plane to afford this one. I'm surprised that Mike McConnville came on here and told us all they were now in the warehouse......... I would have sworn there would be packs of rabid YAK lovers descending on both the HH warehouses ready to plunder and pillage just to get one! LOL! The wait is nearly over!

I'm not trying to bash H.H. but this is why I don't rush to buy a new product until I know it's in stock and shipping or I know a definite ship date. I hope you guys get your Yak's very soon as it is a very pretty model.

I think we can all get through the wait, but it is discouraging when Horizon can't nail down a manufacturer on a real ship date. Course if that means that some defect that would cause my plane to fly apart and endanger someone than they can keep it till it is correct. I will have my pretty little Carden soon enough (At least I'm trying to convince myself of that!!)..

I've been in all you guys' shoes before, I guess I feel your pain. I am pondering a 50cc to throw around. I have the 35% H9 260, and while I was not thrilled with the quality (Spoiled by Aeroworks stuff), it is still of very high quality, the service/support I received from them with that plane has been impeccable, and the plane simply flies awesome! So this plane is probably my first choice, but I will let you all be the guinea pigs before I order one. That's why I am able to wait more patiently
