You know........ I looked at this about seven this morning and I remembered him saying "no thanks" to your offer because he wanted to have it ready for Triple Creek in Florida. The way I look at it, I didn't get to see the two prototypes fly at Joe Nall......... And since he supposedly got his that Friday, I'd be thinking that WE won't be having to do a build thread! (He's already got all them pics and the informative text written so I'm guessing before he loads it up to go to TCRC's get-together, he'll go ahead and upload all his info for us to see.) I guess since he'll be there, if all of us pitch in some magical money so we can buy some alleged JET A to go in my totally refurbished but imaginary Lear jet, I'll just pick everybody up and we'll jet on over and watch him fly it. (Can you call ahead and ask the boys at Triple Creek if they can mow maybe another 50 feet of runway at their field??? If I just had that little bit of extra runway, I'll be able to set the old Lear down without having to change to the tundra tires!) One other thing.......How is it that McConnville let a YAK slip out of the Illinois or the Cali warehouse to a guy in Florida? Or was it given to Ninja's INFORMATIVE friend? That's it!!! Ninja is off the hook on this one! It's that friggin' informative friend of his that is behind all this! Man, I amaze myself when I can figure all this stuff out so easy........ Scott, I'd love to chat buddy but I gotta go..... Charles Lindberg and Howard Hughes are dropping by.............. Chuck wants me to look at his compass so he'll know what his heading is going to be when he flies down to to see the new YAK fly at TCRC. Howard wants me to help him get the Goose out of the hangar for another run across the Bay. He said it was hard on his right leg holding all that rudder by himself so he wanted me to fly right seat and help out. Who am I to tell Chuck and Howie "no?" BAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WT

Horizon Hobby,
Please sirs and ma'ams ship out my Carden Yak in the 89" wingspan. No substitutions are necessary, just one plain Hangar 9/ Carden Edition Yak. Thank You, Devin Byerley I figure it never hurts to ask nicely.

Just so you all know, and can now not waste anymore of your energy typing things about what I said. I never recieved a yak from HH. I was told it was shipped that Fri, but that was bad info. I just got some bad information from my supplier. I originally was a little excited when I was told it was coming in, but now I don't even care. On a better note, I just watched the video for the first time and it looks like it will be a good flying plane and it should be able to handle anything I can throw at it. We will see, if it ever gets here.

First off....... My sincere apologies for jacking with ya! If you had a supplier giving you info that absurd, he ought to have known better. Info comes down the pike here on Flying Giants probably better than anywhere. The real kick in the pants about the YAK was the up and down of the arrival date. It was getting to the point where we were all ready to scream! Finally, Mike McConnville came on here, gave us the real skinny on the arrival and soothed our ruffled feathers. We're all smiling now and things are gonna get better. As far as Scott and Mike and all the gang giving you the razz, don't sweat it....... Next week it's probably gonna be my turn! Nope......... I take it back! It's Scott's turn! Okay......... Now tell us your rendition of the YAK. What are ya gonna put in it? And don't hold back! We're up for it! (You up for going for a ride in the imaginary Lear? Scott's the pilot and he ain't worth a flip at landing!! LOL!) WT

Ain't no tall cotton for a high stepper like you! (Killing your bank........... Yeah sure!) You can't kill your bank when you OWN it! Now go fly that new Power Box so it will be ready for the YAK when it gets here! LOL! WT

Just for grins and giggles I stopped by my LHS and asked if they had any H9/C Yaks on back order. I just got a blank look and said "whats that?" Our LHS is out of touch with the Giant Scale crowd around here. Long story short, he called HH and asked about it, he asked about the policy of hobby shops getting priority over on line orders and it's true. Is that a crock or what? I'm sorely disappointed in HH right now.

Scott,
I know a shop in Houston that is expecting two of them and nobody has spoken for either of them...... The place I'm getting mine from has four ordered and two spoken for. (Don't know if he'll get all four the first round though.) I'll see if plan B can work for you if you want. WT
