It went into battery failsafe, didn't realize what was happening until I was too close to the trees to recover. I guess I shouldn't have been over the trees in the first place. I'm over it

Here is a pic of my old Funtana 40. Pics were taken at the field before flight and after maiden. Last 2 pics are the cause of the crash. I was flying the maiden and was doing an aileron roll, then we all heard a loud snap. Some thought the wings had snapped, but it was the clevis pins snapping out. Could not do much with both ailerons flapping in the wind. Horizon ended up sending me a new plane.

I never use plastic clevises on my surfaces, I use them only on throttle.

plastic clevises are CRAP!!! I always throw em away. Lost a Q500 racer to a plastic clevis once, that was all it took.

well i did it again i normally fly a little futher from the trees but misjudged them cause i kept hovering and walking backwards then i try to come around full aproach and smack into the dam trees they were like a magnet man!!! lol funny video and no to much damage i think ill post pics of the wings when my buudy brings them home for me


Also if you notice i totaly forgot to turn off my dualrates (3d switch) thats why i lost all control when i noticed the trees were there never had a chance lower the volume when the plane i come foward as some one screems watchout in spanish real loud
