North Jersey Jumbo Flyers(NJJF) CLUB of NJ Here!! Any other Jersey Clubs out there?

Well following in the footsteps of the famous RDRC. Im hoping to get my club the North Jersey Jumbo Flyers,to start chatting about stuff!! Maybe hooking up with fellow Jersey clubs along the way..

Our club has been around since the early 80s. Started as a special interest group just for Giant Scale. Since the hobby started slowing down and the membership was the lowest ever,we had to change up and let the sport flyers/trainer flyers join up.Hoping they will someday fly Giant Scale. Now we have over 30 members still not all Giant Scale but thats cool !!

Hey Frank, Stan from the Jersey Coast Sport Fliers here. We are a 200+ member organization in Monmouth County New Jersey which is about mid-state close to the Jersey Shore. Our club is made up of mostly fixed wing aircraft but the helicopter contingent is growing. There has also been a push in the direction of electrics but not much giant scale. Our club has been around for 25+ years and we've been an AMA Gold Level Leader Club for the last six. We were also the host of the AMA District II Fly-In a couple of years ago. Next time you're in the area stop in and say hello.

My name is will and I am the treasurer for the North Jersey Jumbo Flyers. (NJJF for short)

HEY FRANK: Let me be the first from Southern Air RC,Vanceboro N.C.to congradulate you on your thread startup.I follow the circus on the Giants and they are a great group of people.! My advice is to post pictures,pictures and more pictures. A few knowledgeable pilots liike yourself and a few good BSers like me and your sucess will be unlimited.I see Belvidere is in beautiful country close to the Delaware river and tne Appalachian Trail. I'm sure your fellow flyers around the state will answer your call and join in. I would imagine guys on the west side of the river will be interested too.Good Luck!!! Glen Wayne

Hello Glen,I think I remember you on the RDRC site..YOur right they seem like a awesome bunch of guys and the few women they have flying too.Thats just awesome..

Yup our area is very pretty! It just stinks that we cant fly all year! The snow will be gone soon but the driveway will be pretty muddy. Will and I can make it cuz were also Jeepers!HAHA!!

Hey guys, Lafe here. I am also a NJJF member, and live in Hackettstown, NJ. I am currently in school down at West Virginia University, so I have been flying down here during the school year. What are you guys up to? Might be a slight change of plans, might be headed back up to NJ again for the summer instead of staying down here. Means I can rip it up again this summer with all of you!

Whats goin on dude? That sounds cool that youll be hangin with us again. Show us how its done!! Ive been getting the Typhoon ready. Waiting for a spinner from Tru Turn.Gonna be a 3 blade P38 style. Gotta figure out what prop to use.
Im still waiting for my Brillelli 46gt for the 74" Yak. He must be busy.. I brought over my 88"Yak for some tuning up.

HMM? Im not sure where that is exactly. The snow is melting away and its goin to be 50 tomarrow,then in the 40s most of the week..Its getting close to flyin time..
