Default Gibson SG guitar shocky

Recently i have been using a shockflier to entertain the drinkers at gigs.
I was looking for something a little more inventive and came up with a guitar shaped shockflier. This is a build thread for the new, improved version. Ill just chat about a few things that are a bit different from a normal shocky.
Wingspan 44"
length 46"
Heres a video of the original flying at a gig in Bristol.

First step, cutting the parts

Tried to make the wings and tail as small as possible so not to spoil the looks.

This is the gear I'm gonna use, freshly ripped off an old shocky.

This is the way I find easiest to put the wings on. Put carbon on just one wing, slide it through holes in the fuselage then glue the other wing to the carbon. I do the tail the same way.

Putting the fuselage side on. This one is slightly different from the last, and probably any other shocky. Im sacrificing a fair bit of strength for the looks and only using one fuselage side on the back of the guitar.

This is it so far. It would be a shame to spoil all the quality felt tip work with a bit of depron.

The wings are a long way foreward to keep the CG in an acceptable position for knife edge. This means you have to be a bit careful keeping the tail light.

It flys like a dream believe it or not Rolling harriers no worries n steers accurately both ways whilst rolling. Way more than i expected for just a fat piece of 3mm depron Orientation is the only factor of concern. Although my buddie Tom who thinks hes a bit of a Don has wadded up twice due to a DT after loosing his brain functions I havnt as yet lost sight of the control nobs n carbon wich tell wich way up it is. I couldnt bring myself to put wheels on itlol

Not sure the V would fly as well as the Sg tho.

I wonder how many of us rc pilots would want a flying guitar if we saw one in our local shop? About 1 in a million i bet
The flying f1 cars are serious gash. Though ive never seen anyone dumb enough to actually buy one
