I don't know if this is just me being computer illiterate or what, but when i search for krill models the websites never come up. Is this just me or is there something wrong with the sites

I'm still working on mine (X-Thorn scheme). I'm going really slow. I spend 3X longer trying to figure out how I want to do something than actually doing it. The pipe mounts took the longest. I'm putting BMB tund pipes in.

Hey Ryan, maybe you can answer this, if you cant maybe Joe can. I been looking through the pics on the cd for the 39%er. I seen in some of the pics that it looks like a honey comb type of board, and then some that looks like its carbon fiber ? Is that just aircraft ply with some kind of carbon laminate on it ?

Where do you get that stuff ?

Danny,

those boards that you see is exactly that...honeycomb. The other items are carbonfiber laminate. You can find these items by doing a search on the web. All I did was take carbon fiber and apply it to 3/32 birch to give it added strength with minimal weight...not needed, just makes it look nice in the plane....wood with with speckeled paint applied looks just as nice. Hope this helps.

Joe

Hi Brandon,

This is Mark form the MVRCC flying field. How have you been?

I am just finishing my 39% Krill, and the plane is really nice!

What are you working on?

Best Regards, Mark

Hi Xtra330,

I am trying to decide on 2 or 3 servos in the Krill Katana 39% wings. I have 6 JR DS8711 servos, but would two be sufficient, more than enough, or almost enough?

Thanks for your help.

BR, Mark

hey there,

I am flying two 8711 per wing in both planes and I say that they are plenty...not lacking any performance at all. I say two per half...three is not needed if using the 8711's.
