Hi Dan no,

I have the Greeves Pipes in mine too. I made a fixture on the front floating mount to keep the muffler from moving forward and backward, but left the whole length grow.

I have been told that they row in length of up to 1.5" in length.

BR, Mark

PS: I just bought the Powerbox Royal so I can get rid of the match boxes in the wings, I just have to figure out if there is a 9 pin connector that I can use. Should I run 3 servos per wing, the blue Multiplex connectors only have 6 pins....

BR, Mark

Mark, you have any pics of your plane going together ? I would like to see your mount for the Grieves pipes.

I think Joe already answered the question as to 2 servos per aileron. We will be using all 8711's and just as Joe said, put two in the wing.

Post some pics of your pipe setup if you wouldnt mind.

Ryan,
I bought one from FlyingRazorback up in Shreveport. It only had a few things started and he made me a deal I couldn't pass up. If I can get the time off work and convince Rathburn and Chuck to go, I'll see you at your contest.

I got word that Jeff Suezber got his last week - from the sounds of it, he is really anxious to get his done.

By the way - if anyone is interested, Skyline Aviation has a Yak55M done in the JR scheme, PM me if anyone is interested.

You all get some pics of them Katana's up here...I would really like to see them.

Thanks,
Joe

Hey Joe, did your firewall have a ply firewall glassed into it ? Some of the pics I seen have a solid glass firewall and some have a ply one made into it.

The one we got has the ply firewall made into it and Jeff and I were talking about it and I mentioned it looked like it had right thrust in it but didnt know how much.

I found out in contacting Krill that it does have right thrust in it, 2.5* right thrust, and 0* down.

Im trying to find a dash panel and seen someone who has one in thiers and I have contacted them to see if its possible to get more from where they got theirs as it is a Katana dash panel.

As soon as I find out I will let you know, what did you use for a dash in yours ?

Danny

Can you tell me what Ron Storer thinks about the three blade prop he his using, is it a 28.5x12. I also have a ZNLine and have been trying different prop I'm using a 32x10 and it's working ok, i have had a 28.5x12 on a comp-arf 330 and it tracked very well.

Even if you were to run 3 servos, you would only need 5 pins. You can wire the connectors so that there is a common ground, a common +5v line, and 3 signal wires.

Danny, lets see some pics!
