Default The Gohbee Phazor 600 is here.

Well the boxes finally arrived.
One of the kits is the full carbon version and the and the other is the G-10 frames.
The carbon version will be built first.
The G-10 kit is for me to start some of the development work for a nitro version. But that is later and another thread.
The bag in the top center of the parts pic is the frame parts.

Equipment list is;
Phazor 600 Carbon with orange prepainted canopy.
I have opted to upgrade to the all metal head w/On Edge 90D dampers. Just cuz I like it
620mm Gohbee carbon blades.
Gohbee Glass Paddles (15 grams)
Neu 1907 motor.
Castle HV85 speed control.
Jr G7703D Gyro w/DS8900G servo.
(3) HiTech HS6965 servos.
Futaba 14 channel RX (will be changed to 14channel FASST when I can get my grubby mitts on one)
Flight Power 8S 4900mAh flight pack

I have not yet decided on the RX power system for this build.

I will post build pics as I get things done. I have several other projects going on at the same time so it may take a while to finish this build. Please be patient.

The assembly manual is now up for download at www.gohbee.com in the support section.
The download is big at 80 meg.
The manual is not quite finished yet. The assembly part is done, what is missing is the exploded views and parts list, but that is coming. Once the manual is finished it will be reedited to make it a smaller download.
The manual has nice clear color pics of all of the assembly steps.

There is an assembly and setup video in the works from Finless.

I will be starting my build this weekend while watching it snow.

Now this is really novel and cool.
Each bag contains all of the parts needed (no more no less) for each numbered step in the instructions.
This is gonna be way to easy.

Since the instructions on the Gohbee website have such nice pics, I will only add a few pics of neat stuff here and there.

I finally got out to maiden the Phazor.
It was still 15-20MPH wind but a nice warm blue sky.

The first 2 flights were getting the Gyro and ESC dialed in Mostly just hovering and some fast forward flight. Nuttin fancy.

The next two flights before it got dark I was able to let it rip.
All I can say is WOW!!!
I used to think my Stinger 50 was really quick but this Phazor does everything much faster. I was over rotating everything because the cyclic speed was so fast, my ancient old fingers could not keep up. This is not a bad thing, it is a good thing.

With the 3700 FP pack I was getting 4 minutes of hard abuse. I have not tried the 4270 EVO lite pack yet.
