Dang dude, Events just won't be the same without the eclectic composite gyrations of VooDoo.
I'm sure I can safely say we all will miss you at the airfields big-time!

This is tough news Doug. Sorry for your struggles man. Hope it will all work out with post haste!

VooDoo, I really feel for ya, I know where you are coming from on the work front issue! After working 41 years for a cut throat Railroad Company, who's name will remain out of this, (CSXT) I know how it feels to go to work, do your best for them then get slapped across the face. The last straw was my last 5 years of work, where they hired supervisors young enough to be my grand kids! Nothing against young people getting a start, but when they do not know anything, and resent your for what you have learned over the years, well, that was just too much.
I hope things work out, I am over the hill, but just up the road in Palm Coast if you need anything.

Another "good guy" crumbles... welcome to the club Voodoo.
This economy is killing the hard working good guys all over this country.
I got caught with my pants down also, too deep in debt at the wrong time.
Slowly digging our way out and it sucks not being able to do the things we used to.
I haven't even flown my plane since September.
Keep your chin up Doug, you may look back on this as the best thing that ever happened.
Like you said, re-invent yourself and see where it takes you. Might end up better than you have ever been.

That is why now is a good time, since my divorce i have takin care of all my debt, the only thing i am cleaning up now is the back taxes that my X-Wife let go on our old house in OHIO,She did not handle her end of the deal,so the IRS came after me I just cut that debt in half a couple weeks ago, only 2,300 left to go and i have not one bebt, only bills. It hase been a LONG 5 years, and it will be nice to be debt free(except for Krill, wich i will pay off with the sale of a plane, its not much, but enough),since i almost went the Bankrupt route.I think that is what hurts the most,i did the right thing, and that is never enough any more.I have never takin a nickle from the system.

No bills is great! I was in a bad way about 6 or 7 years ago, work some overtime pay what I had to, and blow the rest. I had a change of lifestyle, paid those damn credit cards off before I retired. Now have a nice little house and no bills, time to get back to the planes. 6 years or so of no new toys was good motivation. I hope everything works out, like it has been said, "Nice guys finish last!" Hopefully not in this case.

VOODOO! Sorry to hear all this bro! Hope you get it all sorted out, remember voodoo you can always come to Southampton if you want and live here with us, (nice 1 master bedroom guestroom free of charge) and the weathers starting to get nice here(fulltime flying for you). You can keep your planes here....So you would be living bill free! Btw, keep in mind that southampton is in indeed the place that has all the amazing beaches with all the hot babes in the summer. Come on up bro! btw, all you would have to do to live here is teach me to fly like you bro! Lemme know if you need anything...your welcome to stay here anytime if you need anything! Take care of yourself bro!

LOL !!! You guys are to much.I hope that i did word things where it sounds like i am in dire straights,i am not,but i also see my self being put in that type of scenario if i do not act pritty soon.I am just trying to finish something i started a long time ago,and that was to clean up the mess that i was left with, and move on.I am so close,i can smell it I have, and will always be OK,but that is just not enough for me anymore.I will be flying, just not the way i have been,i need to cut way back because it gets VERY EXPENSIVE doing it the way i have been,at least for my pockets...HELL for anybodies pockets. If i put half the time into hooking myself up with a new situation as i do flying,i might just turn into somebody
