Must have been those 4000 watt lights that made it as bright as daylight that must have blinded you and messed up your orientation

I finally maidened my new EF 88" Yak and love it. Got one flight in last Saturday and it was awesome the DA-50 performed awesomely and can't wait to start huckin it hard once the engine is fully broken in. Now need to get some graphics on it to make it look even better.

Glad to hear! I'll make a vid for ya if you want. I'm not letting my old cameraman from FX3D film again... The plane was hardly in any shots!

Ya sure a vid would be awesome. Just let me know at the next meet. Let me get the DA more broken in so that I can do 3D. Need to burn about 4 gallons before I can bring it down to the deck.

I have less than 2 gallons through mine. I'm still scared to get it super low. In NC the engine acted funny and didn't spool out right. My guess is altitude, ran alot leaner up there. I'm going to switch to synthetic after 3 gallons, it's basicly broke in now. But so far, I love my DL. I just don't like the stock muffler sound. How much does a can and header weigh?

Hey, Wassup FFAA!

Just wanted to get you guys pumped fro Joe Nall. The 2nd Flight line is going to off the hook! Pat Hartness has answered to need for "3D down in the dirt hucking" and the 2nd flight line will fulfill that need. I will be there on Satuday Afternoon 5-10-08, even though I did previously said I would be there on Sunday. I would like to see as many FFAA guys at Joe Nall. So far I know that AeroLou, Snoopy 3D, Flying Skunks, Lil' Stinker, Voodoo, and myself are going. I plan to be camping on site. If yo uguys do not know it, Joe Nall is known for its wonderful bathroom and shower facilities. So all you have to bring is a tent, sleeping bag, and supplies. The weather is usually mild with daytime temps in the 70's and cooler evenings for sleeping. Of course, all the flying and night time activities/partying that you can stand. I hope to be able to get a nice FFAA mixer/party one evening at the Nall! If we plan now, we should have one hum-dinger of a party! SOOOOOOOOO, whos going to the Nall!

Matt the KS1060 tuned pipe and the header that I have on my DA works really well. The plane can come out of a hover with ease. I bet that if you put a pipe on the DL if would become a whole new engine. I don't quite know the weights of the header and pipe the only thing that I can tell you is that my EF 88" ended up being tail heavy with the 1060. All the batt's are upfront in the engine box. The engine screams when it is above half throttle. It is so sweet. If you can give it a shot you won't regret it.

My plane only has a can tunnel I would of went with an es composite if it had a pipe tunnel. I'm not sure if the hop up to just a plain can would be worth the extra weight. If I was strictly going to fly IMAC i'd surely get a can. Has a 2:1 power raito right now, but it's a little sluggish (it's not the servo, I'm using a digital). I think I might need to tune it again. I'm not used to tuning gasoline engines yet. Maby I can get someone at the feild to tune it soon.

Can any one tell me about how much a MTW 75 or somthing the same would boost the POWWWER? thanks. (on a 50cc).

Boy Matt that's a bummer that you can't put a pipe on it I bet that the DL would scream. I was going to use the ES composites pipe on my Yak but then Rennie told me that the KS would work just as fine and it is cheaper also. Sure enough the pipe works great even tho the extra weight. My DA is doing 6900 out of the box with the Vess 23B and the KS1060.

Jeff we will all forget about it if you let me have your krill down on the deck. Or if your brave enough you have it down on the deck. I am sorry but full throttle into payment is kind of bad
