Personally I feel the 260 would be the better choice, its a great IMAC bird and also an exceptional freestyle bird. I dont know about the yak, Ive flown the Dalton 260 but not the 110 yak except for Jimmy's at our field which happend to be a Carden. great plane, snaps are GREAT! and hovers AWESOME!! and Does harrier rolls like no other.
What I ment was, they are rock solid and i've seen plenty of people put them through the paces. I've not got an oppourtunity to fly ither yet. But they do LOOK like great planes. I'm not super big into IMAC but i'm willing to give it a try.

We burned those photos, one of our FX3D brothers gained an Aunt Jemima award tonight. Parker had a flame out in the middle of a lawnmower roller, see pic. He will be looking for a new airfame for his 50, the chances of a repair after this crash are slim.

Well at least I fueled it up before flying...haha....just kidding, but any crash just plain sucks even if it was an old beater of a plane.......I thought it better to retire the Yak after being rekitted 4 times. I definitely got my money's worth out of it and I made a lot of memories with it being my first gasser and 3D practice plane. Sure am going to miss it; it was something special. Some kids will have pieces of it hanging in their rooms tonight so at least someone will get enjoyment out of it.

Thanks bro! I really appreciate it.

Tony Russo and I both think that it loaded up on the low end like most DA-50s have a tendency to do, even after we tweaked it and got it running like a scalded dog. At least I got about 6 1/2 minutes of good solid 3D before it died while transitioning to inverted. I will not let it stop me from 3Ding and it will not stop me from buying another DA engine. Their new 170 is AAAAAWWWWEESOME!!!!!!!!! Big props to Tony and his Dalton 260 with the 170 on Greves!!!!

Now I'm part or the Breakfast "Club"......P.S. Rennie you got any Extras in the Red/Black/Blue Stars scheme......I might need one in a few days for the Jax IMAC Event.

I'm highly considering a dalton. I just told my dad that i'd put a 170 on it if I got one.
I better start saving... lol

I can't wait till TC3D. I'm getting very comfortable with my extra now. Wringing it out is less "knee shaking".

Once you get a nick on the wings or rip the gear out the first time you won't be afraid to put a little dirt to that tail in a hover. Trust me....keep practicing on the sim then get comfortable to transfer it to the field. Start high then move it DOD.

it was funny today watching VooDoo Hucking the crap out of Postal's ugly stick today. after he was done flying, a couple of old timers came over in amazement,"I didn't know that you could to that with that plane !" was the common comment. then Jonathan and I had to take turns on the "Hovering Stick" ,was fun.

Donnie, the extra does a inverted flat spin like no plane i've seen. It was awesome... It did one better than any plane on my new G4.

Hey Parker sorry bout your incident welcome to the club been there done that! Today went out with dad and hucked my 88" EF Yak hard. I have burned two gallons within the past week. The power keeps getting better and better. This Yak doesn't compare to my other one that I had. Rennie should have some pics that I could post from last wednesday. Sounds like everyone had fun this weekend. We are going to pick up an EF Extra 300 for Dad aka Speed Hucker. He saw Rennie fly his so he liked the speed and said we are going to get one. Hopefully we can get it going before TC3D.
