Joe Nall!!!... FFAA Camping at the second Flight Line! I am going to be there Saturday Afternoon. Camping out for the whole week and leaving Sunday AM. Flying Skunks, AeroLou, Little stinker, Snoodpy 3D, Sp33D, Adamiami, and of course myself, the Flyin Hawaiian, we are going to "Huck it Hard" at the new Flight Line, partying down with some southern hospitality, Joe Nall Style! Is anybody else from FFAA going?! Chime In!

Look us up at the Nall!

Hi guys. My name is Ben and im a 16 year old student at Spruce Creek. My dad and I are looking for a place to fly our new model airplain when i found this site. As i was reading through your posts, you all seemed like an interesting group of people. As i talked to my dad we decided that we would like to join a club of enthusiasts so that we can become better acquainted with our equipment and meet new people. I read that you use a 4000 acre sod farm as your flying field in Daytona Beach. Would it be possible for my father and I to use this, and if so, where is it? Thank you for your assistance.

Thank you for the invite, Donnie. I think my little brother will be comming with us as well. Wether or not you agree to it im bringing some drinks(somehow i doubt anyone will be bringing some mountain dew). I dont like to just mooch of people no matter how kind they are. My dad is still worried about our small wheels in the grassy field, but i assured him that you know what you are doing, and if you have done it then we certainly can too. Also, i wanted to know if there was any kind of directions for once i got to the field for finding you. Unless its just a huge open field with a group of people chilling out with vehicles that you cant miss(i hate it when people say you cant miss it because i normally do when they say that).

Flying at MacDill Airfest '08 was an absolute blast!!!
We only got a few short flights from 8:00a - 8:40a then were grounded for the remainder of the day.
But, we had the best seats in the house!
Right out on the flightline on the opposite side of the fence the "regular" public had to stay behind.
We pretty much had free access to the whole event.
We even got to eat lunch in the VIP area, free lunch, dessert, soda, wine, beer and mixed drinks.
I even got to meet the Base Commander's wife. She was very nice and really loved the stuff we do with our RC stuff. She was kind enough to invite us to the VIP area and got us arm bands to get in.
This year's show was a bit smaller than usual and the crowd was less than half what it usually is.
Some people I spoke with today said they didn't go because the Blue Angels weren't scheduled (The Canadian Snowbirds were the headliner) and others just said they didn't want to spend the money on gas to get there. That is a sad state of affairs when you don't even want to spend money on gas to go see a FREE show!
We posted many, many flyers for our TC3D event and a lot of people were coming down to our area to check things out even though we weren't flying.
Most of them were truly intrigued and were genuinely interested in coming to TC3D and many were interested in coming out and trying RC for the first time.
Thats great news!
I know we were being videotaped professionally during our short airshow by more than one videographer so keep your eyes open for footage and post it here if possible. Thanks!!!

Sorry for not really knowing about my plane. My dad kind of surprised me with it. On the box(yes we got a small box kit) it said E-flght, mini ultra stick. Now if that means anything to you or not, i have no idea. If you want me to describe what my plane looks like and mabe some demetntions for you, i can do that.

Rogarn, just call me when you go under 95 and I will meet you at the Kangaro store at the corner of Dunlawton/Talor and Tomoka Farms rd. The Ulyra Stick will do just fine off of the grass, there are quite a few of them that fly out at the field.
