Why wouldn't XPS toot its own horn about having pilots fly at the Nall without incident? Even if it was only 1 pilot (not saying it was only one, that was figurative). There was no mention in that article how many of each brand was there.

I see nothing wrong with that bit of advertising. Other things may be questionable but not that.

Email/forums are painful to have a technical discussion as it is so easy to be misinterpreted (note: not refering to JD again, just some participants). It so easy to end up in a (heated) debate between two people that actually fundamentally agree, due to poor phrasing, language differences, etc...

Anyway, back on topic, kinda....

maybe JD forgot to ship the free smart rabbit with each receiver - "Intelligent frequent-hopping process, initiated by the receiver" is not misleading at all....

It will be fascinating to see what the regulators in Europe determine in regards to the claims XPS and JD have made. Time will tell but I've very anxious to hear those results. I'm glad that process has been initiated.

Okay, let's look at this "Claim". High speed electric delta's, and gliders. I didn't see any big 40-50% gassers or multi-engine birds flying XPS in demos. Perhaps JD is finally admitting what we all knew for so long. . the ONLY planes you can consider safe with XPS is Small Electrics and gliders.

Kinda sorry Jason got his name involved with XPS. He was just flying. .any other hot dog pilot could have done the same thing, but JD would not have been able touse their name. Nothing against Jason. but you gotta watch Snakes like JD.

And YES. . this is a WITCH HUNT!!!! Why even be coy about it?

According to people at Seff, there were only 3 xps units out of all the 2.4 radios...

Ah...but it does not SAY Jason Shulman was flying XPS. It only IMPLIES it. Demo pilots flew XPS. Ritewing had Jason Shulman flying wings. Does not say Jason Shulman flew one with XPS. Jim is pretty good at that kind of thing. Show me a pic of Jason Shulman flying an XPS system.

But there I go again, refuting Jim's claims. What's the point? Every one of them is false.

So he does. And therefore, this system is used and heartily endorsed by Jason Shulman.

It doesn't say that, but then you knew it didn't. It SAID he flew it, it didn't IMPLY he flew it. See, caps are better than *asterisks*.

You wanted some proof that JS had actually flown an XPS system, I offered up as much, but with no implications of any endorsement.

Hey, no sweat, you're not my enemy, you just pointed out that when I implied what was implied I was wrong, or something to that effect.
What Jim was implying, though, is that Jason Shulman endorses his system. Otherwise, why mention it?
Jason Shulman also once drove a Yugo. And therefore...well...connect the dots.
But it's all just silliness.
After all, tens of thousands of units have been sold, millions of flights have been had, and there has never been a problem that has not been attributed to the user installing it wrong or Futaba or some other crap radio company gear with poor quality control screwing the pooch and somehow messing up the XPS Spherical Radiation Technology so it won't work right.

Yeah, I agree with that.

Now I'm out of here before Fish07 pops in and accuses me living in Arizona or something.

I'm not a fanboy, but neither am I a mouth-foaming opponent of XPS either . . .
Like I have said over and over, I see some problems, but not everything that has been presented is proven to be true . . . on either side . . .

I too welcome the outcome of the testing that will be forced by the actions in Sweden . . .

I published a little piece in my daily blog today about how powerless *facts* are in the face of *faith*.

Although it wasn't written with XPS in mind, it does seem to be a very similar situation.

Faith versus Fact (or how scammers make a living).
