3m comp arf 260 FINISHED!!!

Dont get me wrong, I love the planes, they fly real good. But.........when you pay 1,500 for high quality arf you shouldnt get paint over spray, bad seams, dowels that break, wing tubes that are to long, canopy hard to get off, bad glue jobs, and I may just be venting after the dowel coming off. But when I do get another one and I will, the 3m 260 it will come from the factory and not the warehouse.
It just seam like the plane was thrown together, yours looks great and I followed your thread and eagle1 thread.....and others, That didnt have any problems, so thats why I will still get one made custom.

Yeah, totally, if I could do it over again I would have had mine done in some custom colors. Not everything was perfect on mine either like the wing servo mount wasnt drilled so I had to do that (which was a process). I think your problem with the paint is the just that it is in the fantasy scheme and those are pretty hard to replicate. But I totally agree about the $1500 for a 35%, with that tag you better get a perfect plane. And I think they will pay better attention to the plane when you get it custom and for 200 extra, its worth it
