Thats good to know, Im glad you like it I will see Kyle soon he may fly this one too. few more evenings I hop I can finish this thing, can't waite.

Hey Tom....i just ran across this thread. Hope everything is going good on the Suhkoi. We gotta hook up sometime in the next few weeks or so and do some flying. I think Tony is going to like the big Suk. Just tell him to give it some time and he'll probably fall in love with it. Like i was saying , i haven't heard one bad thing about this bird from anyone who owns one.

Hi Jeff, everything is going fine, I just finish one wing, hinge the elevetor stabs, glue the rudder, tail wheel, ad install all the electronics on power box, just waiting for engine frome DA, if I work hard I think it will be ready in 2 weeks.

Tony likes the plane, I think he'll have fun.

Awesome Tom......hey , when you get the thing airbourne , shoot me a PM on here. I'd like to come down and see her fly. I felt pretty bad after i let her go that night , but at least i know someone else is able to fly it. I just wasn't ready for something that big yet , besides i had no room for that big sucker!

Its getting close Jeff, I just finishe the wings last night, all I have to do center all servos and attach the linkages, install power box with gas tank all plumbed, waiting for Fromeco switches, and engine, Pretty much done here can't belive I finish this thing in 8 days, I guess that's a quick built

I hope i haven't forgot anything, Im still waiting for the engine frome DA, hope I'll get it soon. I will send you mail before maiden.

talked to you a few days ago Tom about the maiden happening this weekend. How did things go? And how did Tony like it as far as first impressions go? At 38+ lbs she should be a real floater for sure!

Well we came a cross a electrical probelem Jeff, after couple of hours we decide to by pass the ignition reg and used a borrowed A123 straight to modual, finely got the beast in air, Tony really dig this plane like you said it was a floater but in a same time did pretty straight flying, knife edge look good too, but unfortunetly it was a short flight after few blenders and rolls, right wing coverin decided to pill off almost halfe a wing lenght, he landed the plane no problem, Ive got everything fixe and ready for this weekend contast at Olympi, his first one this season, I would let you know how that goes, hope see you soon.

I got one flight today..... (First flight).... with the Vess prop and cowl muffs... and 100 degrees and 3000 feet above sea level, I was unable to get prop rip... I have the 32 C prop... still good power.... (WWW170)

The plane is not fast.... but even with only 35'ish degrees of aileron in High Rate, it still rolls fast....

I have it quite nose heavy.... but it would do harrier rolls and TR's and Blow-overs OK.... I will move the cg back, take a few snaps of the installation and get a vid after I get comfy with it....

I was pleased that I was able to do fairly clean snaps on a vertical upline with a nice on heading exit.... even though I think my low rates are pretty high compared to IMAC'ish throws....

its an awesome flying plane, but Tony likes the faster roll since he used to fly extr, so I got him a sd model extra 260, now I have a sukhoi airframe for sale( only one flight) and carbon fiber landing gear, if anyone intersted on this plane please pm me.
