We are selling my old trailer to the high school which is a 6x12. We have found another trailer for me which is a 7x16 plus three foot V nose. Will be looking for some awesome trailer setups for this one. Cant wait. We should have it by the end of the week hopefully.

Looks great v-nose is nice especially with these gas prices. Dual axle is the only way to go makes for a much smoother ride. I have a nice setup Will try to get some pics.

Looks nice Kevin, what brand? I'm looking for a new one as well, and I have a friend that is looking for a 16ft'er within a month or so.

I have a friend that is selling me his 5 x 10 interstate loadrunner. It has a ramp style rear door. I am very excited. I can now haul more than one airplane at a time without real fear of massive hangar rash, and I can have my explorer back, hopefully without the hint of gasoline smell. He used it to haul his harley around, bought a bigger bike and now needs a bigger trailer. No I have to go learn how to really back a trailer up... Been a very long time since I tried that.

Very nice! I wish I could afford to go up to dual axle and a bit longer and put a little bench in the front, but I'm just lucky to have my 6x12.

nice trailer dude! One of these days i'll be able to get one... I dont have the money or a place to really park one at the moment, My house only has a 2-car parking pad...
I'll just have to keep stuffing my katana in my jeep for a little while longer...

patrick, that neighborhood dosnt look like trailer in the yard friendly, i just bought a 6x12 homesteader that fits through my 8' garage doors. i need some ideas on how or what peps use for shelves to split the trailer in half, so far i like the idea of using 36'' wide doors from home depot but im open to ideas.

I know the feeling, just bought and laid out my first rc trailer. Look at a lot and decided to use the e-track for the shelf and walk behind the planes through the side door.
Here are a couple photos: Steve |

Yeah...if it stays there overnight, the HOA sends me a nasty gram. By the way..the rubber floor came from Diamond Cargo Inc in Douglass, GA. I am sure they buy it from some place else, but they can probably help you out. They normally do not sell to end customers, so when they sold it to me, I was able to get it wholesale. Several people at my club wanted the stuff, so they jacked the prices up on it. I think I paid $400.00 for enough to do the trailer floor, rear door and a top shelf that I had built. I still have enough left over to do odds and ends with it around the shop. I think it was about 37' x 9' which I though was a pretty good deal. I also purchased the white luan paneling for the walls and most of the aluminum trim for the trailer from them too. It ended up costing a little over $1000.00 to deck out the trailer...
This is the finished results...one with the old shelf and one with the new Bosch Rexroth shelf. |
