This plane weighs 15 ponds as-is and is expected to weigh around 23-26 pounds all up. It was built then fiberglass-coted. I recently just finished all of the surfuces. All thats left is the basic "ARF" stuff plus we decided that we are going to get it air-brushed!! Its going to be one sweet airplane!!! Any ideas for the color scheme?

Since you are going to airbrush it, I'd go with a QQ scheme. Points on covering canbe a huge pain. Look at the scheme on my Extra 330L in my avatar, I really like that scheme and it's an arf! But if you chose the right colors it would looke 10 times better. My colors arent the most desireable, but the style... I like it alot.

I like the Quiquie idea but I would rather have something more of my own color scheme. Just something wierd but amazing looking!

Exactly, not the color scheme just the design. But I totaly agree, it's great to have your own style and make it sweet. I'm thinking of one I might put on a Dalton kit when I buy one... Maby in the next 6 months...

If I am not mistaken that looks like the Great Planes 33% Extra. I am finishing one of these right now. I am going to put a DA85 in mine with a cannister. Weight might be only 21-22 lbs. Should make a great sequence plane. I am finishing mine in the Fighter Combat scheme

Oh, it might be. I got the airplane and things but no manual for $500. So its a 33% haha my bad. Its the first big airplane I have ever had. I use to fly a 33% pitts Challanger but this is compleatly diffrent. I like the color scheme idea. thanks for the input. :]]]

Oh, is it a 33%? I got the airplane with no plans or anything and started to put it together and I was guess-timating the size. haha But I like the airplane idea. Thanks man. I would love to see how your color scheme turns out!!!! Mine right now is all fiberglassed and were going to sand and paint it. I might just use that color scheme!!

Hey, how did this turn out? I'm going a 35% Hangar 9 Extra 260 as an electric for next year and am very interested in particular in your experience with the Storm motor, which is just a bit over half the price of the plettenberg and falls between the plettenberg and the Hacker A150 in price.
