Default How the hell do i get TT or SD models parts?

Since the TT site and ACE Hobbies sites don't have anything in stock yet , and chief aircraft and TBM don't have any spare parts either , where can i can parts??

My room mate has been trying to figure out where the hell he can get a canopy and hatch for his 33% yak.....it's becoming an impossible task. I had though mabe getting a 33$ aeroworks canopy and building the hatch from scratch , but we aren't sure if the AW canopy will fit.

I'm hoping that TT gets this stuff figured out , because if it's always this hard to locate parts , that'll be the last TT or SD models plane we get.

BTW.......my room mate has been looking for 4 months with no luck.

When I was looking for original purple 40% YAK parts I had to go to SD Models. I was looking for few parts but could only find cowl and canopy in stock. Might give them a try: (This was mid Dec 2007 - don't know if they are still there????)

The planes were nice and as a matter of fact, I had gotten a 33% last summer ( which I havent built )....Its a nice airframe but the company has had quite a few problems.

Thanks guys , and Bill thank you. I think my room mate had called you guys a few weeks ago , but whomever he spoke to said the hatch and canopy we're not in stock.

NOW........if you have a canopy , i'll have him get a hold of you and order that up , and he can scratch build the hatch i think pretty easily.

BTW......Rocko was extremely prompt and saw my message here , and replied that it will be the end of April when they get a large amount of parts in stock. ( he replied in a PM) so thanks Rocky , i will forward that onto my Room mate. and see what he wants to to do.

Also....Rocky , if you wouldn't mind , can you tell us who the distibutors will be for the new TT line of aircraft? TBM , Chief aircraft , Valley view RC....?? Also....since it is now TT that owns SD models , and a ton of shops carry TT line of products , can i order my airplane through local hobbie shops.....such as Tammies Hobbies in Beaverton OR?

Thanks Rocky! I know i personally can't wait for the TT line up to finally get all stocked up every where and i'm also really happy that the SD model company got involved with a large company like thunder tiger. I hope it means "more airplanes and parts" for everyone. The airplanes you guys produce are way to good of an aircraft be "washed aside" and never to be heard of again. Good luck with everything , especially since i know you have been there from the beginning.

Just wondering but will Thunder Tiger have distributors in Canada. I like the SD Yak but shipping up hear is always rather expensive.
