When Krill offered to pay me twice as much as I was getting from ZN Line, I just couldn't afford to stay with ZN. You have to go where the money is!

Hey Danny,
No, not really. I had spent the last three days at a contest, and before that I was too wooped to work on it Wed and Thurs night...I have got everything laid out to tackle the rudder tray mount...that is next on the list...after that will be locating the battery locations so that I can solder on the leads to the batteries (so that the wings and stab servos can be finalized and set as well as the rudder servos). I will post my progress throughout the week - hows yours coming? Joe |

Hey Joe, howd the contest go ?
We started out in a bit of a different place, I started with the cowl and engine mounting. Got the cowl cut out and engine mounted, got the holes cut for the headers to go through the front into the fuse, pipe mounts and Grieves pipes just setting in the fuse to see where they are going to have to go. Figured that would give me an idea with the pipes inside as to where to work on putting things above them, kinda working from the bottom up. After I get the pipe mounts mounted I will start on the wings and stabs....gonna be looking at your pics REAL CLOSE for that ! |

Hey Danny,
Contest went pretty good - only able to get two rounds in due to the weather. I was able to pull off a first place with Wayne Matthews right there with me...It was nice to have our class filled up. A couple of guys came out of retirement and did really well! Sounds like your making some good progress! I had started on the Rudder tray mount and Powerbox/Receiver tray last night...I will try and get those completed as well as the fuel tank tray...I will post some pics probabaly mid week.
