Default Twin Falls Tumble - Carpool anyone?

Hey fellow IMACers, I have some vacation on the weekend of the Twin Falls contest and I'd love to go! However, that is quite a distance to drive from the Seattle area, so I was wondering if anyone from the area would be up for doing a carpool to the great state of Idaho for the weekend. I'd be happy to offer the use of my 6x10 trailer to haul planes with, but my WRX might not be the best vehicle for carpooling. So, who's in for a road trip? I figure if 3-4 of us pile in together, the cost of going to that event will become much more bearable.

Thats a big maybe Ryan. If I am able to go, and I'm sure we can get 2 more, we can all go in my truck and haul "PALACE IMAC" over there and have a blast!!! And I can get everyones planes in there. But right now that's a BIG if.

Ryan,

There's a slim chance I can go. My schedule ends on the 18th, so maybe some creative bidding!

What a great contest, if you missed it you should be ashamed
The weather was beautiful and the field was very nice. Mike Verswyvelt was the CD for this event and did a fantastic job. Plenty of good people and great flying, some of the point spreads between pilots was as close as 7 points.

I took my PAU Edge to be shared between me and 2 friends and all I can say is WHAT A SWEET PLANE. The Edge took first place in 3 classes at the hands of Brian Copfer (Unlimited) David Fox (Advanced) and Brandon Rosenquist (Sportsman). I'll get some pics posted soon.

For those wondering if the PAU 43% Edge would work well for IMAC the answer is HELL YEAH . Brian had flown the plane only a couple times before this contest and Brandon had never touched it. If your looking for a big plane for IMAC use, I can't recommend the Edge enough.

Thanks again Mike for a great contest, and special thanks to his wife Cindy.
