Holy smokes what a few weeks it's been! We hope you and yours had an EXCELLENT Easter weekend - the sun is starting to show it's face, and spring is officially kinda here!! Time to finish up all of those winter projects you've been working on, before you know it, Summer will be in full swing! While it may appear that we've hit a lull in the action this winter, HAVE NO FEAR! There's all kinds of action on the horizon including the upcoming 2008 Toledo Convention, The 2008 Electric Tournament of Champions, and of course the granddaddy of 'em all, the 2008 Joe Nall Giant Scale Fly-in! Myself and our Staff have also come up with a concept for that we hope you'll all enjoy! As you all know, our beloved LeadingEdge is the new goto spot on the net for the latest in modeling news and information. We pour our heart and souls into bringing the best of modeling to our crew, with our very own unique vibe. Many times, we post member submitted articles, and some of this content has been more than enjoyable, and off the hook! We focus on community more than most places, and our LeadingEdge truly reflects the one of a kind vibe here at FG!

Today we are very proud to announce the creation of a process for our members to become formal FlyingGiants LeadingEdge Contributors! There's a whole writeup in the link below, but this essentially means we have created a facility for you, our crew, to create, edit, and submit articles to appear on our homepage! You don't know how true that is, he e-mailed me earlier complaining about not being able to eat the food........

The time difference there is 12 hr difference so he's sleeping now,after he went out and trimmed the plane he will be flying, he will post some pictures if he can get a faster Internet connection, I guess the house he is staying in is 25,000 sq ft......yeah that's right 25,000..........damn!! Six floors and he has one floor to himself about twice the size as his house in the good Ole U.S. And most of the house is Marble.............Lucky Bastage!!

On a serious note about this thread if you have some guy in your club who just puts in more than whats expected then do a rough write up on him, send it to us with some mug shots and we will build the story for you.

What its all about is making the members of FG visible in front of the community and friends. Look for some older guys who have 50 years in this hobby and who started with nothing but a rubber band and some sticks. We need to recognise these characters and there are plenty already on this site.

Dig out someone you highly respect, get some info and let us work on it with you. Lets give some of these great guys some time on the podium because ****** many many of them deserve it.

Thats what makes FG what it is and we want lots more of it.
