Default How do I mount the wing on ‘MY’ Edge 540

A few months back I picked up an open box edge 540 at a local show. The plane seems to be mostly complete short of the actual instructions and there is something that I have never seen before.

The plane is an Edge 540 100cc size plane, and I believe it to be a China ARF but do not know for sure.

The issue I am having is : when inserting the wing tube there is no receiver tube inside the fuselage. My first thought was to just make one and put it in, but somewhere in the back of my mind I remember a plane on the market that had an adjustable wing. Maybe this was just a dream but what I remember was you could slide the wing forward and back to adjust the CG.

What I am looking for is an instruction manual for a plane with an adjustable wing, it does not have to be the plane I have just one with this type of design so I can understand how it is done. If the design does not exist in the real world perhaps someone can tell me how to proceed as I am at a loss.

Thanks

One ideal that came to mind, as I look at your picture was if you used another short wing tube(the width of the fuse) zip tied to the other wind tube. That way you could use the front position or switch it and use the back position. That's what I would do, I sure their are some other ways to do it.

How about a full picture of the plane and side of the fuse!(Inside and out)

If the anti-rotation pins on the front and back of the wing are slotted like the wing tube area is, I would just epoxy in two outer wing tube sleeves in the fuselage. One in front of the other. Then just slide the wing tube into whichever sleeve you wanted.
