3w extra 330 is really an awesome plane but it doesnt comes with hardware so I would say aeroworks 260, is awesome too.

I will say this as far a quality goes you will not find any better built arf than an Aeroworks QB series, and all and I did say all of the hardware is useable!! I would look at the AW Extra 260, one bad airplane and a DA-150 will take it for a ride!! I know that a lot of guys will disagree with me about AW but I have'nt seen any arf's out there that are better quality than theirs, not saying that there are not other good planes on the market, they are a lot of nice ones out there. I just like the fact that I have never had to throw away any of the hardware from their arfs. Just my 2 cents. And BTW I would like to try one of the H9 Extra 260's.

I do like the airwild yak very much. It caught my attention from the first ad I seen a while back . I particularly love that is has a split cowel so you do not have to remove the prop and spinner to do some work under there. That alone is almost enough to make "me" order one.

The composite arf is right there as well. Gorgeous plane.

I have the 31% aeroworks edge 540t builders kit and the plane is amazing I will say that. I love it and it instills a confidence in me when flying it that no other plane has yet. I have not flown my yak yet though

Do any of the planes we have been discussing have 2 piece cowels other than the airwild yak.
At 123" the airwild yak is larger than the QQ Yak. Is the airwild lighter yak lighter than QQ's yak?

42% Aeroworks Extra 260 has the 2 piece cowl. Check it out on the website, you can even download the manual.

are you guys sure your not confusing the SU w/ a yak. there is no mention of a yak in the "what's new" @ airwild. it took over year for this one to get released, not sure another plane would have gone un-noticed? also not sure they would do a Suhkoi then do a Yak

what are you looking for - IMAC, 3D, general flying. Might look at the Great Planes 330, there seems to be some excitment about it - especially for the price. Just throwing another one in the mix.

Too many good ones to pick from - decide what looks good to you and then go off customer service.

Well I have de Comp-ARF 260 (3M) in a Custom Paint (done by a Friend of mine) and the DA-150 on Stock Mufflers on a Mejz. 30x12. More than enough power. The only trick that I found was that in order to balance it right I have move all The batteries to the Engine Box and put the Rudder servo tray behind the Main landing gear (up front), puls added like 6oz of lead on the nose. Probably because I'm using a C.F. sipnner and a smaller diameter prop I didn't get enough weight on the nose to balane it with out the 6oz of lead.

For IMAC these plane is awsome (as long you thake the time to trim it well). Stright lines, great snaps (even though it takes time to time it, for me). Great landing speed and a very predictable airplane. I fly more IMAC than 3D (since my wife gets prety mad at me every time I crash and airplane 'cause I'm showing off).

That's my experience with the Compy.

Regards
