Just about the time Bill H. comes out with his 50% cub, i was half-way done with my 1/3 scale cub in the Harold Krier scheme. It's actually a World Models Super Cub with 141" span. I put a Kroma 100 on it and it has excellent (although still cub-like) aerobatic abilities. Pictured is the set of short wings Scott Morgan cut the cores for. These wings are custom airfoiled by Scott with a semi-symetrical design. i am about to cover those wings...the span will be 118". I think it will react like a well powered TaylorCraft. Warren Peitch and Duane Cole come to mind.

Looks great Tim. Hope the airfoil and the wings live up to your expectations. Personally I think you will have more fun with this size than the 50%.Just not as impressive on the ground but twice as fun in the air. Looks great . Let me know how the airfoil works. Hope to see you at Texarkana this year. I'll have my new laser with the edge wings.
Scott

I flew the Cub with the wings Scott had cut out for me. They are a great combination! Point rolls with very little roll coupling and almost no pitch coupling. Look forward to taking this on the road this year!

Way to go Tim!
Harold was a Kansas boy. I saw the real cub fly about 15 years ago. I have a scratch designed 1/3 scale Krier Craft Bipe all framed up in my attic. I took scale pics and measurments from the real thing in the Ashland Kansas Museum. Maybe I'll finish it some day. I'd love to get some stick time on your cub. I promise to pay for all damages!!!!!!!!! Mike Hammel |

Scott, You;ll be sure to get some stick time. You too Mike. Congrats on being the number uno supplier of foam aircraft! I hear Brandon's free was sick. he used to go nuts a few years back when I would harrier down the runway or do a rolling harrier...now I'm looking at what he's doing so I can try to copy it. I plan to do quite a bit of flying this year....see you around.
