Default ooooohoohhhh yeah

after my electric Extra 330's maiden voyage, it needed alot of repairing. so i glued and taped things back together!! i was a little nervous about flying it again coz its been costing me so much money, but yesterday i decided to give it another crack (this is my first rc plane ^^)
i did a few laps of the logan park cricket pitch here in dunners, just to practice keeping the plane straight and to get use to controlling. I got a little carried away and went a bit faast and ended up taking off. I panicked but managed to steer the plane away from the trees and even did my first barrel roll lol. the plane came down hard but it landed on its stomach, which only ripped the wheels of and the cowl. Its repaired again and cant wait to try again. im increasing my flight time by 5 secs each try LOL.
just thought id share this with you all as i am stocked with the outcome

payce

Chris,
Here....... Take the keys to that Quantas 747 out there on the ramp....... Take it up and go around the patch about three times and land on runway 21....... Then put it in the hangar. Don't bend anything.
(Ya got an instructor there, mate?)

you should really go along to the Dunedin club and get someone to set the model up for you and give you a few pointers... http://dmac.co.nz/Page4_1.htm

Thats true - unfortunately I won't be able to make it to the next Dunedin Comp (its actually the weekend after next) as I will be up in Hamiltron / Waharoa for the rescheduled Rumble... Work is paying for my flights so I'll make the most of that!

But yeah Chris - go along to the next aerobatics comp in Dunedin and see some big models flying up close, Taylor will give you a fly of his 50% Edge 540 - he's looking for an excuse to buy a composite ARF!
