After letting a friend of mine use my FrankenPower to charge some batteries he decided he had to have one. Here is the catch, he needs to use it in the USA and Europe and his packs charge at 7+ amps per pack.
So here is what I built. (4) 12 volt rails Rail1 - 14A Rail2 - 18A Rail3 - 16A Rail4 - 14A Each rail has it's own dedicated binding post. This is a computer power supply that has (2) pigtails. One for USA power and one for Euro power. The unit has internal switching and auto detection on the source so all you have to do is plug it in and charge. Here are some pics David Fox |
