Default edge 2.6m Xtreme Composite

hello!!

After a very long dilema I finally bought an egde 2.6 extreme composite. I am very happy with the quality. I can't compare this plane to other planes and companies because it's my first composite. However I am very pleased with composite compared to wood. I will give more infos when I start the building ( if you want)
Here are some pics:

My pilot ( I trust him for the first flight!)

Looks great mate. I think we have most of the details sorted out as to the fit up so it will be great to see how you go with the build.

Dont be to shy to ask questions on this build page as there are lots looking at this plane.

The finish looks excellent from what i can see so now its going to be good to see how it goes together for you,

Good luck, and were always pleased to help where we can.

Thanks to you guys for these kind words!
Actually Xtreme composite sells different levels of quality for this fantasy scheme: A :no flaws and B+ and B. I have bought a B or B+ plane that's why I had a discount on the edge. I am very happy with my choice : first thanks to the discount I was able to afford such a plane, second: the flaws in the painting are minor. I have to look carefully to find the flaws. So if you have the choice think hard before buying this edge. ( if you could see the different planes A and B it will be the best)
I hope starting the building these week but I lack the engine and the servos so I will be able to start with the basic things!
I add some pics:

spaceW. Towball is the Australian importer of those planes and recently finished the 2.6 which he is flying in IMAC. He has also just finished the instruction manual for them also. Shoot him a PM or email, he will be able to help you with a lot of questions. You can also catch him on the "giants downunder thread"

Can you take some up close pics of the painting flaws so we can see if they're minor or something that really down-grades the overall look of the plane????

Excelpoint: thanks for the tip but I am already in touch with towball. He sent me his manual. He is a very nice guy!

Superflyjay: Towball has good infos about the Xtreme new products.He told on RCU that a 40% extra260(3.1m), then a t6warbird (for a .90size) and a 44%edge(3.5m) are coming. I am only reporting what towball said so if you want further infos you should ask Towball himself.
HjorturG: ok I will post pics of the flaws tomorrow. ( beware: tomorrow means with my french hour ( GMT) ) . You will see they are very minor very minor;

Bye

Hello;

I add the pics of some flaws in the painting. I put the biggest flaw and a pic( sorry for the poor quality) of minor flaws. There are very few flaws! and they are hard to find!

Kitman has one of those! He enjoys the snot out of his!!! Shoot him a line, and ask him whatever questions you may have. I've flown that one too. Flies nice! Not my ideal set up, but works good for flying around!! I think that he did a review on it for a magazine too?? I could be wrong???

Enjoy that bird!!!

Chris~
