Default supplied decals 35% AW 260

How do you guys apply the supplied decals without the transfer tape on the decals ? They do look a little cheap but it will work without spending more money. What have you guys done?

Windex. Spray the surface and slide 'em on. Squeegee out the excess and blot dry. Oddly it doesn't seem to affect how well they stick and you have time to place them where ya want 'em.

I have the 50cc 260 from them, and i used the supplied graphics. It came with one section of clear transfer tape, that i was able to reuse for every graphic. If i would do it over again i would have paid the extra 80-100 bucks and had better graphics made for it, but was short on cash when i purchased the plane and put the stock graphics on. Just my opinion though.

It looks like I would have to peal off each individual letter or number and put it on that way. I understand the soapy/windex thing, but one sticker at a time? that can't be right.

Look in the box. There will be a piece of clear transfer tape. Place that on the decal, rub it down only over the letters, then peel it off. The letters should lift with the tape. Then apply it to the plane using the normal water with one drop of Windex technique as you would any other decal. No one can do it one letter at a time.

Can you be more specific on that glad press n seal. AND didn't I see some pictures of your AW 260 that was involved in a terrible miss fortune ? Maybe that was someone else. Did you use the stock decals or were they just too "plain"

Glad Press 'n seal should be just what you want. I've never personally used it, but to my understanding, it's slightly sticky, therefore, once you've stuck the decals on, and squeegeed the water, rapid tac, windex, etc. out, let it sit for a couple minutes, and peel off. Now, if you think you're cool you can go ahead and pull it off, but you can risk pulling the vinyl up as well, if it's not dry yet. The whole purpose is to use a material that is not as sticky as the vinyl.

And no, that wasn't my 260, I have a 50cc AW Edge. You're probably thinking of Vic3D's 260. I'm sure he could answer all your questions about it.

Hope this helps!
