Hey guys. I was wondering what the preferred method of mounting your fromeco batteries is. Until lately, I've used a piece of foam rubber under the battery with either velcro straps or nylon wire ties to hold it in place. Is that a good way to mount them? I've started to wonder if wrapping the completely in the foam would be better. Will haveing the batteries wrapped this way have any negetive effects on the batteries?
I know this seems like a stupid question, but I figured I would ask. Thanks, Chris |

The way you are mounting your batteries are perfectly fine. you dont need to wrap the foam all the way around the battery. just the bottom works fine.

I just checked and my ignition battery is just foam under it and my RX batteries are wrapped.... so they both must be fine

I have seen some guys use 1/4" foam, others 1/2" foam. Also seen zip ties used and Velcro straps. Batteries on a single layer of foam and batterys wrapped in foam.
I am sure that Kurt and Mike (the Fromeco boys) could tell you what the best mounting technique is through all their years of experience and feedback! |

Thanks guys. I had a battery failure last weekend so that's why I was wondering about the mounting options out there. I had foam onder the battery and it was strapped down with nylon wire ties. They are mounted on the motor box so I'm sure there was some vibration. I just didn't know if that's what killed my battery or not so I just wanted to know the other options out there.

Just wrap them up in foam and strap em down. You'll be fine.
