Just wondering how many people are going to be sticking around in the evenings. . we will be needing fire wood, stuff to drink. . marshmallows (we forgot that last year). . maybe some material for Smor's, Firewood. . .perhaps some fire rings to put the fires in, and firewood.

I'll be bringing my 20" chainsaw to cut dead-fall in the woods next to the field, as well as my bush axe and some other implements of destruction. I figure a couple of hours from 3-4 people should be enough to gather enough wood for a small Russian Army camp. We can stockpile a couple of cords of light timber (1-3" stuff) and have it ready for any campfires we'd like to sit next to as we hang out. The Bonfire people are on their own . .you want a massive blaze. . . the woods are over there >>>>>>>>>>

Weather forecasts show the weather to be decently clear with little chance of rain, and temperatures seasonal (60 or so in the day. . 40-50 at night). So, bring your long pants, sweaters, light jackets, sox, and cool weather attire. . doesn't look like there will be much sunbathing going on.

I just mixed up a batch of my "Beef basting" sauce. Anyone who wants a sample is welcome to come by and try some Bison Ribs on Friday night. I'll have 4 racks (2 short, 2 baby backs), as well as some Bison steaks for a select few. . . I tested the sauce on some Beef ribs last night .. oven cooked for 2 hours. . . OH YEAH!!!!!! this stuff rocks.

Can't wait to see you all there.

If anyone is flying in...
Don't forget there is a Marta train that you can pick up at the airport that can take you all the way to Alpharetta...
that makes it much closer to the field for rides, etc.....

That's funny right there!

I will bring up a shaker full of home grown Woop-Ass.

I have a pepper bush in the yard that people around here call "Grove Peppers" or "Bird Peppers." I harvest them dry them in the oven for two weeks (oven light only...about 114 degrees) then grind them and put them in old garlic, or pepper shakers. A little dab will do ya!! Its a slow but ever increasing hot, different.

Also I will have a cooler full of kava drink at the back of my trailer. I will mix it in apple juice and ice. Bring your own cup. Kava is a muddy water drink from Polynesia that has been used for 3000+ years as a social beverage. Non alcoholic, non narcotic but it does have actives called kavalactones. Google word search it if you have not heard of it before. Its kind of like sushi in that you have to try it at least once, may or may not like it.

To be fair to all I am involved with a company that sells the stuff...the kava that is...the woop-ass is my garden project, I have not bought red pepper in about 15 years now! I drink kava and fly all the time...might be where I get my handle

Now gotta get back to work on planes...to bring..ATLANTA...only six more days for me.

Richard

Chopping the firewood is one of those male bonding things. . . .I'm still going to slice and dice some local vegetation for the smaller fires. . perhaps the guys hopping through the bonfire would use your help.

No "registration" unless you plan to fly.
