there were plenty of campers last year. i am assuming that it will be fine to stay right there at the field.

we plan on leaving iowa on wednesday morn and getting in late that night. is it alright to start flying on thrusday morning? this was such a fun event last year that we want to drag it out as long as possible this year. that time of year represents our final flying of the season. it will already be quite cold here at home and the snow will soon be upon us. this is our last hoorah of the year and we intend on it being the best flying party yet!!!!!!!!!!!!

SMOKIN, i will be doing the same as last year.I was on the flight line by 10:30 Thursday morning and spent the day Huckin it up with a small group and had a BLAST.I got in more flights Thurs then i did Fri and Sat combined.Hay Sleepy is your gut on 72 or 2.4?Fiddy,It sounds like we need to find a way to get you out of work.I heard if you miss 2 Huckfests in a row ya lose your man card .

Not that I'm anywhere in the decision chain on these... but...since you asked....

Bicycles... I'd say no cool... there's a lot of folks and planes on the flightline, and there's rumored be booze at these events!! Ask Greg (tater's owner) what happens when the two mix!

Small glow powered under the lights? Smoke-em if you got-em!

Glow sticks... your local party store, wally world, maybe a craft store.


Can you fit a bicycle in this picture? BTW.. this picture was taken AWAY from the pits! Between the sound system, vendor booths and more planes, it was hard to even walk in there!


Hey.. I just realized that I'm in that picture! Head is chopped off.. behind the "e" in "Dates".. I'm the only idiot out there in short sleeves! It was a little chilly that day.
