Default Who feel a difference when changing radio's

I have flown Airtonics , Futaba, Multiplex, Futaba, to Spectrum In that order. now with the new Spectum I noticed a big differnce in speed.

When I started my rolling harriers with my Futaba I had a nice rythem going. Big nice rollers
Then I switched to Spectrum and the 2.4 craze. Now I had to slow down my rythem. I kept getting ahead of the plane.

Some people say "IMPOSSIBLE!" No one can feel the diffrence.

So let me know Can you feel it or is it my Imagination.

I haven't gotten the chance to feel the difference yet, but I just setup my plane with Spektrum, as opposed to Futaba, and I can tell a huge difference in servo speed. I can't wait to fly it.. Maybe FASST is the same way. I don't know, but I assume so.

I went from a 8103 to a DX7 and it feels faster and way more locked.

The weird thing for me was that when i switched to a 2.4 system i didn't think i felt any difference but about 300 flights in i had to send in my module for an update so i switch back to my 72 mhx module and rx for a few weeks and it felt really slow. I wasnt even looking for a difference since i didnt think i felt one on the first switch. I got the rx back and have had over 900 more flights and it just feels normal since again going back to the 2.4.

Nothing better than my 9303!! I've owned Futaba 8U and 9C and played with a DX7 a few times...Hands down the 9303 wins my vote

Thats what I was feeling, I've been on Spectrum for 1 1/2 years and every now and then I'll be asked to trim or true a plane for a friend and it just feels slow and wierd. I really noticed it when I went from my 9cap radio in a extra 260 to the 2.4

Over at RunRyder they've published latency tests that show (as I've always said) no module-based 2.4GHz system beats a good old FM/PPM system. Those who claim their module-based 2.4GHz system feels faster or more locked in are obviously suffering placebo effects or perhaps the result of slightly higher (but unnoticed) servo-throws.

Native 2.4GHz systems are a whole different situation though -- they should have a markedly lower latency which I have no doubt can be felt when flying.

However, when I switched from a Hitec Optic 6 to a JR9XII (9303) I *really* noticed the improved resolution that the JR offered over the budget Hitec unit. That made life *so* much easier when using 3D throws on a 50cc gasser.

Xjet amend your post please and make the distinction between ppm and pcm because your blanket statement is untrue.
