Let me start by saying, not my first choice in music. My Son likes it, and I'm behind him, so I accept it

Also one thing that needs mentioning, Kenny is self taught on the guitar...plays a number of instruments a little, but is really proficient on the trombone with the school band. Proficient enough that in the 7th grade he was asked to play with the High School concert band...does it sound like I'm braggin'? Just a little

One other thing that's pretty cool, he absolutely love's R/C!! He has a foamy, that he got from my buddy Temptation, flew solo after one flight on the buddy box with a trainer. Of course he had a bunch of time on a sim, something I highly recommend for any newbie.

Here's a file of his band's song, not what I would normally listen to, but he's happy so I support him 100%. The song isn't complete, no bass is included, but he's proud of it so far...so am I.

I like the music, not so sure of the need for the screamin'...but like I said, not necessarily my style, but it's my boy...

I tried to get him interested in Country, he was having none of that

One additional thing...Kenny is 16, just a youngin', as is his band...hopefully they develop into their own niche.

Sounds good. I personally think starting a new thread about FG musicians would be cool? What do you all think. I would like to see some Giants post some video of their bands or themselves Playing their gigs. Its always cool to hear new stuff. Spread a little harmony i say. Music is a great way to bring people together. Mabey a Flying Giants theme song or songs could come of it.

Ken,
Sounds like a cool kid with a passion for music. I had music around me when I was in high school in the form of a brother that played rock and country. He just hit fifty and still plays with some of his old band mates. Just make sure your workshop is not transfered into a "recording studio!!" LOL!
