He has done the exact same thing with 3W stuff, then that stopped and DA is in the picture. I saw him at the DOGS show last year doing nothing but following around QQ and anyone else that would listen to his crap. I did, and bought a QQ Yak and hated it. Flew fine but was a hassle to put together.
To me its nothing but a blantant attempt to get sponsored by whomever will listen, and after reading all the previous posts its pretty obvious that thats the case. It doesnt take a genious to figure that out.
I feel I got better information from the Flyin' Hawiian, BR289 and Hovermaster and will base my decision on them.
I think suspect he is more interested in helping out himself, rather than others. The proof is in the previous posts about the other planes he used to "Push".
Man, that's a very harsh statement you wrote there. Let's get a couple things straight here. First of all, I have paid full price for every QQ and E.F. plane I have owned. I got to know Wayne and Quique from seeing them at events and being a regular customer. They, along with everyone at QQ Aircraft are some of the nicest people I have ever met in this hobby. I got the first Gen III 102" Yak and posted pictures and information about it all over since they didn't have one together yet. Reza was very busy with other things so it took a work load off him as well. The 102"er is one of the best flying planes in it's class, many of the top pilots in the Country will agree with me on that. I never pushed anyone to buy a QQ plane, I only expressed my opinion and feelings on my experience with them and their products. I'm sorry if you didn't like the plane you got, however sounds like the performance wasn't the issue, just assembly at the field according to your post. I offered to help on the support forums with the plane that I had. They asked for a picture for the website since Quique was tied up with other things and hadn't got the GEN III together yet. I did all this because I consider them friends of mine. This hobby is my life, as it is to many others out there. When I post about something it is only because I want others to get the same enjoyment out of things that I get. I love passing that on through the hobby. As far as the Extreme Flight, I wanted a larger plane to compete with this year. I was going to get the QQ 120" Yak but my finances are not the best. I work a second job to fund the hobby. Very good freinds of mine, Chris (Hovermaster) and Blair (BR289) were aware that I was looking for a plane to compete with this season and highly recommended the 110" Yak. They had just got back from the Atlanta Huckfest and flew the prototype while they were down there. I jumped on it, got ahold of Chris Hinson right away. I paid full price for the plane, and did the same for Chris as I did for QQ, just helped promote something that I truely feel is top notch. I don't care what the price is, I'll pay for the best products out there. I'm not looking for anything free, if I was I would have been out of this hobby a long time ago. I have never said don't buy something because it's not good. I have replied to hundreds of PM's about things, as recent as yesterday, and have given nothing but honest answers from my experience with companies and products. By you posting the statement you did you not only insulted me, you insulted the companies you included in it because they are my friends and they really know who I am. Dude, if you have a problem with me you could send me a private message and I'll be in touch, otherwise save this forum for what it suppose to be about, the new E.F. 110" Yak. By the way, my name is Lee Morey, what is yours?

Lee

Mandifer,

I personally have met Lee..bought a plane from him a while back and he's a stand-up guy. I find the information that he provides along with Rennie's and others to be valid and useful. Obviously he flies well and enjoys the hobby.

As for sponsorship, I have been told by a friend of mine (a pro with JR) that one's attitude and willingness to help others speaks just as much as flying skills. I would encourage anyone that enjoys the hobby to take it as far as they want.

Lastly, it's spelled "genius", not "genious"...shouldn't take a genius to figure that out either.

Hello Lee,

I was originally planning on it and have decided to stick around here that weekend. I mentor a young kid and was planning on taking him to see the Blue Angels at Andrews Air Force Base.

Sean Tucker will be there as well so for a kid from the inner city, it should be quite an experience.

Of course...for those not attending the Nall we'll be expecting to see footage of everyone tearing it up!

Soo. . MXCop wants a sponsorship?

HECK. .get in LINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thre are about 10,000 wannabe's out there who want the exact same thing.

How bout. . we all justhave fun, fly our planes, huck, fly some more, and quit with all the character assassinations and petty rivalries?

Besides, if ANYONE deserves a sponsorship, it's ME!!!

Think I'll sponsor myself this IMAC season, just to make the point. . . . . . . . .

Kris W,
You said it right, just fly and have fun, that's what this hobby is about. I am a sponsered Team JR/Horizon pilot, and I can assure you I didn't get on the team by just asking. It's not about getting free stuff, it's about having fun, helping others, and passing on the enjoyment you get out of the hobby to others.

What a sad turn of events. I knew it was gonna get ugly in here. I think Lee did an exceptional job in the video. Regardless of motive, the Yak's flying speaks for itself. Now, if only they could come up with a pop-up version so it can fit in my car....

You know, it is pretty said. This thread is here for Chris Hinson of Extreme Flight, his customers, and future customers. It was only intended to help give more motivation to those who have been waiting for this plane. It turned into a personal attack, how it that happened I don't know. I would never do something like that to anyone, if I had a problem with someone I would contact them privately. I would like everyone to look at my history of posts about QQ's planes as well as Chris's, there is nothing bad there at all. What's wrong with supporting people who have given us enjoyment by offering some of the best planes out there? I don't know what this persons motive is, I don't even know if they do. I'm not the only person disgusted about this, in fact there is a list of people who want to know who this is. This isn't what the hobby is about, it's about having fun. It's a getaway from the pressures and stresses that life sometimes brings, it's a lifestyle, it's a family thing, etc..... Lets get back on track here.

Mxcop; the video rocks, the support you give on this forum rocks! Just keep on going dude.
I'm posting at alot of forums around the net... And you see things like this everywhere...
It's not about you, me or anyone else ... this is just the world of "the internet" :-)

About the sponserships, if you fly to get sponserships or because of sponserships, I think it's better that you quit the hobby... Everything I do it's just because of pure fun... I enjoy the big competitions, traveling around Europe to fly...,making videos, but also every single day on the field together with friends... And I guess thats where a hobby is all about, making friends, having fun, ... and don't forget FlyingGiants ;-)

ps: I already did many events, competitions, etc etc but I guess most of the FG dudes remember the last FGVC video contest? Well mates making those vids for this contest where about the best days in this hobby for doc. and me.
