I notice that the antenna on the FASST transmitter modules flip up and twist turns 90 deg C.C. Does anyone know if you don't twist, will it have an affect on the transmission. I believe that I have forgotten to twist it a couple of times. I have about 15 flights on my 12FGA system, and no problems have occurred.

I haven't heard of anybody reporting problems. I would have to admit that I've probably flown mine with the antenna pointing in the wrong direction also.
The signal from the radio is the strongest at a 90 degree angle from the antenna stick, so pointing it at a 45 degree angle at the ground in front of you should give you better signal transmission in the air in front of you. |
