If you remember from some previous pics, I removed some material from the fuse to allow for a CG-mounted tank. Here's how that turned out.
It is very lightweight and was a simple install - just carbon rods, a little ply, and a little foam and zipties to hold it down. The two aft carbon rods go all the way through the fuse. The wings cover up where I drilled through the fuse sides, so it didn't ruin the looks or anything...

and the final weight, less pilot and vinyl...I am very happy with the final weight, despite the effort. If I would have built it stock with pipes, I'd have been over 40 pounds for sure - a far cry from the 36-37 pound advertised weigh. In fact, the two of these planes I know of that have pipes or cans are 41-3/4 and 43 pounds (the 43 pounder used big nimh batteries, though, and a full boat of servos). And yes, I do notice it!
