They aren't even listing the DL-50 anymore.
If I remember right hey wanted $325.00 and $50.00 to ship.
For $15.00 more I'd buy it from DLAUSA.com , get it fast and from a guy that will stand behind it.

But, as 2robinhood pointed out, why would anyone (in the USA) even bother buying a DL50 from Peak or Hobby City when the logistics of warranty support are so expensive?

You'd be mad not to cover yourself against possible problems buy just purchasing from DLUSA instead. Nobody's that short of cash that the few tens of dollars would make that much difference, surely?

Mad ! Yes i am but from different reasons !

I totaly agree with you and 2robinhood, about the warranty support if you live in us !

where ever i buy the engine its half price compared to norway !
"and then some "!

Remember we pay close to 10+ usd pr gallon of gas, so no it dosent make a big difference!

I bought one of these, got about 20 flights on it. Works great!

I was running it on a 21 lb 81" Cap 232 and it really hauled! Now on a 18 lb Extra, can't wait to see how it works on that!

I have Yak 54 25% Great Planes using FTL-52. It´s great engine, very strong, but lower of DA50 or DL-50. I did use 23x8 Prop = 5800RPM, 22x6 Zinger = 6500RPM and 20x8 JC = 6900RPM.

The engine is very light, 1.4Kgs (w/CDI and Muffler). My friend have same in CAP 232 120 (68") it´s perfect to 3D flight !

I bought mine in Hobbycity, US$169,00 more US$65,00 freight.

Think about:

" Not that the Chinese are cheap. The other are expensive! "

Great engine....ĦĦĦĦĦ...not to much power as DA's or DL's, but for my GP Yak 25% is fine...i Only change the stock muffler to a pitts bisson zenoah 45 muffler.

Bye Hugo

I have one of these motors, it may not be a DA but for 200 bucks it gets your plane in the air without any trouble.
