Well, I placed my oreder today with 3DHobbyShop. Spoke with Ben on the phone and he got me fixed up. Ben was so helpful, the only way i could end our 50min phone call was "Do you take Mastercard?" I thank everyone for their help and opinions.

Ben is a great guy. You made a VERY GOOD CHOICE! Can't wait to see the final build.

I'm also in the market for another 50cc plane. While all of these are great choices I'm thinking more along the lines of Dietrich, Extreme flight and another Wild Hare. However I plan on putting a DA 50 in which ever one I chose I've seen the performance of the DL and am very impressed so which ever one you pick the motor will handle very well. Good luck and hope this helps some.

I ask because a lot of people don't know that the 260 and 300 (not 300S or 300L) as a model are the same plane except fopr the length of the canopy. Is that what you don't like, the longer canopy?

TF
In looking at full scale pics, I see more differences between the two than just the size of tha canopy. The canopy is not just shorter on a 260, it is also placed differently (the back of the canopy is slightly more forward on the 260 than the 300). The shape of the vertical fin looks different to me; the 260 fin is more tapered and doesn't fair into the turtledeck at the bottom leading edge like on the 300. The cowls look different, too, as well as the landing gear.
Yes, the differences are subtle, but they are differences.
