Putting one of these together for a fellow FlyingGiant and have a question concerning elevator servos. Has anyone used 8611's and if so did you have to enlarge the servo mount?

I remember having to lightly hit the servo rails with a dremel sanding drum on my 30% for the rudder. I used 5945s everywhere else, and I dont remember an issue with the elevator servos. how much are they off?

Pics won't really show anything. The servos are mounted inside the stab on their sides.

on my 35% 8411's fit w/o any sanding. I ended up using 8611's and they needed to be sanded just a tad to fit them in. The elevator is the same on the 35% with the servo's deep inside the ribs.

Texx...there is a lot of information in the Build thread that is running on here. It has slowed down a bit from where it was....but it's still very useful. http://www.flyinggiants.com/forums/showthread.php?t=226 Neo |

Oh yeah, one other thing. Be sure to go over the seams on the covering as they lift pretty easily.
