Hi Guys,

I have the extra with an OS91 in it and flies superb, had the engine anyway so i wasnt going to buy another. Anyway very happy, she's got some serious torque but with good throttle management flies very well. Just waiting to see how the light airframe handles a 91 and the battery to balance. The planes a real floater and just flies slow so well its unbeleivable.

Very happy

Ok guys, finally moving on with Glow Extra, everything instaled, only RX and battery left, first thing that surprise me is forward CG even with 2 servos in tail for elevator, naturally removing tru-turn spinner and placing rx+battery near rudder servo can fix it.
Engine my friend will use in his Extra is 4c OS 70 surpass2. OS had no problems throwing around 2.6kg profile, so im sure with smaller Extra it will be even easier. Here some shoots with my electric bird;

Reason why Extra building was going so slooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwww..........;

Famous EF 88inch yak 54, powered by DA-50 (what an engine Weeehoooo!).

More soon....

Hi I have a OS91 surpass in mine and the instillation is a breeze just make sure you have the glow conversion kit. Its a quick job of removing some film and gluing plate onto the engine box. Ive got my tank with rear on wing tube and there are no problems drawing fuel. There is a glow conversion pdf on the extreme flight website you can dl and it gives the clearance needed for mounting the engine. I used a mini mg servo on mine and the plane is a blast, i had to mount the battery as far back as possible and i have reinforced the landing gera with better triangle stock and m5 captives. My c of g is aft of the wing tube as it had coupling issues further forward the further back i go the better it flies.

You will enjoy so much....
