Default Which comp-arf scheme?

What is a good looking comp-arf scheme? It would be on a 3.0m extra 330.

get a white one and paint it yourself, that way you will not have a cookie cutter comp-arf extra that looks just like everybody else's. just my $0.02

3 meter Extra 330s aren't offered by Comp ARF in this country anymore, but check out
the DR Hobbies Extras! I liked the Shulman scheme. Chris

Looks like you only have three choices: all white, yellow/red and the yellow/red fantasy scheme. I would order an all white plane and paint it yourself. You can take the time to sand down all the seams and fill in any imperfections. In the end, you'll have a unique plane that you dont see everyday and it won't have any of those nasty looking seams. Just don't carried away with the paint as its easy to add a bunch of weight. Or you can go with the white or yellow/red and add some vinyl to make it more orginal. The fantasy scheme is cool and all but they are a dime a dozen.

Some few of the phantasy schemes are cool-ish, but some have that "1986 graffiti" look.
And some actually look like a BLACK LIGHT painting from the 60's.... haha.

And this is not a "dog" on comp arf, I think the planes are amazing, and the new 260 and kiwi schemes are spot on.

But even the new 260 does not need the big "acid smoking hipper" 260 numbers all down the side. (which on the extra get mostly covered by the wing?!? so you only see it when the wing is off!?!)

I think Comp Arf hit the mark in style with the JR/FUTABA/and KIWI schemes.
Classy and bad ass as well. Very nice looking planes.

I was born in 1971, so I missed the whole "60's" thing... but maybe if I was 54 in stead of 34 I'd understand the "groovy, way out" paint schemes.

But even if they were Doo Doo brown.... still great flying planes!
