I had an OS 160 FX on a slimline Pitts muffler turning a MenzS 18x6. I talked with the someone about the MenzS vs. the APC and they recommended the Menz because it would allow the engine to spool up faster. I had redundant Fromeco 2400 maH Relions though I was thinking about taking one of the batts out. If I bought another one (which I might), I would only use one. Apparently I got a bad batch of axles from DuBro and one of them broke doing a touch-n-go. I tried to slow it down as much as I could, but the grass just caught the gear and tore out the landing gear plate and most of the stringer system. For servos, I had 4 5625MG's and a 5945MG on rudder. I would probably just go with a 5645MG on the rudder if I did it again. It was a great airplane and I really enjoyed it. I have a CF wing tube if you'd be interested.

OK, guys and gals. The decision you have been waiting for.......the winner is by a split decision....the Tunnel Vision. Thanks for all your "help", if I can figure out how to post pictures I will do so when the plane is done.

just before you freak out and get the answer that the wings are held on with tape.....

there is a hard point on the wing along the wingtube.....drill and tap it with the wing tube in....

I have a build thread going on the TV...I'll be finishing it up soon, hope you find it useful.

Heh dude, I loved the BIPE! Another guy in the club and I had been eyeing it for a while, but neither of us had the guts to bite on it.

Tried calling you Friday night but no answer, will try again.

The OMP Edge, and Yak are the perfect plane for the OS 160. The OMP Edge Hybrid is for the 50cc class. But it does not eat gas. It is a great fun flyer, and it does pattern work very well also.

Now Karl, Don't let Tom F's report on the WH Yak sway your decision. I would hate for you to have 2 bunnies in your hanger. You know what happens when you have more than 1 bunny.Bruce

I have never been sooo indecisive about anything in my life like this. A friend's WH Edge 120 arrived this week. It looks sooooo good. I have to admit I love the look of Tom's planes, and the reports on them are good. My neck is starting to hurt from flip-flopping so many times with this choice.
