Default Carden extra 260 - counterbalances or no?

I'm getting my extra 260 finished out and its time to make decision whether to modify the elevators for counterbalances. I am a 3D guy and I want this bird to really flip around when I get on it.

Carden has told me that its not necessary, but I want more opinions from those who have flown cardens with both setups.

Anyone?

One vote for no...

Just so long as it has enough authority for 3D flips, waterfalls, and the like.

Probably not. It will more than likely flip around like you like it without the counterbalances. With me saying that I'll be building my counterbalances in with my new 330 midwing. lol

counter balances are really only there to help the servo work easer or in the case of full size to take the load off the stick.they have almost no effect on control surface responses
