Come on you guys in Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. Fort Collins is the place and July 19-20 is the date so mark your calendars. We're up to 23 pre-registrations for the Love-Air IMAC now but only one from out of state. We're working hard here to make this an outstanding event worth the trip. The 15 sponsors are coming through big-time for the pilot and worker drawings and AeroWorks is even paying for the barbecue on Saturday night. If you need a place to stay, we'll put you up on a local pilot's home. That should cover the high price of gas.
Check out our brochure at www.loveairrc.org/ and then go pre-register on the IMAC website. It'll be a heck of a party and probably your last chance for TAS points. Jim Brink and Bert Sutton CD's |

Nick, You are more than welcome to fly my 42% Extra since I'll be using the Yak for the contest. Let me know!
Jim, I am sure this is going to be a great contest. Can't wait!

This is the only IMAC contest in Colorado this year. My deal at the Airforce Academy fell a part.
Airforce people were great, 2500ft. of great runway, but no provision for pit area and starting location. I will try to figure something out for next year in the southern part of the state. Lot of clubs have backed out of IMAC due to low participation, well it is simple if you don't show up and suport the another club event than it all die slow and we end up with one event. Few years back we had 5 events in the state. It takes effort to put on contest, and people that do it need our help and support. If not actually helping during the event, but just show up and participate. Also may be starting IMAC competition at your club field. We need few more places that would hold a event and when we do also need pilot support for those events. Even starting small one day Basic/Sportamen one day event is good way to start, get the interest going, I am always available to help or CD the event. Zee Colorado Imac ARD |
