Default Carden 330 Midwing BUILD

I just found out my new baby is in the mail and on its way. Would anyone like to see a build thread on this plane?? I know there are plenty of Carden build threads on here but not a 330 midwing. Didnt know if anyone would be interested. Building should start tomorrow/Friday morning.

Chris,

I have the same Kit sitting on the basement Floor. I was going to get a Levi Jordan lightened motor box and fuse trusses, but nothing every came of it? So I would really like to see this Build! Subscribed.....

This one will have the lightened motorbox. That will be the only thing we lighten on this plane.

This is the plane I would like to build for myself and have considered it for a while. Couple questions, Are you using the motorbox from the 300 kit or modifying the 330 box. Are you lowering the stab??? My intent was to match the moments off the 300 plans in which both surface's would be moved. I would like to see this come together..Walt

Walt,

I believe what Dennis put together for me was a 330 Fuse, Canopy and Stab, with the 260 Motor Box, which raises the Wing about an 1". The other difference would be the Canopy on the 300 is longer then the 330. How far are you from MI 48316? I would love to own a BBW!

Gents,
Let's try to keep this staright.
The Carden mid-wing kit is a 300, not a 330.
I'm not sure why you would want to move the stab???
