Hi!
I am looking for some pictures of the SD-models 30% Yak54 with a DL-50 engine in it. Want to see some pictures of the engine box with the DL50 mounted, how you have setup yours. Some close ups. I would also like to se a picture of the spinner when you have the cowling on, so that i can see the gap/space betwen the spinner and the cowling. Thanx ![]() Arthur |

Well its not a DL...but it is a DA. The bolt patterns are identical as I just pulled the DA off and put a DL on with no mods done. Every dimension is carbon copied.

Forgot to mention spacing... the more the better with the cowl on a Yak, the farther away from the cowl the efficiency of the prop blade increases. If I had to guess mines around 1/2" maybe a shade under.

Here are some pictures of my Yak I just finished. It has a DL50 with the stock Stand-offs. I rebuilt the motor box to 15cm on the center line. This gave me about 2cm of prop clearance with no spinner.

How much did that thing cost?

Can I get just a little bit more detail on the firewall pics? My kit was missing the wood for the firewall, looks like I will have to make my own...
