Any suggestions? - again, $500 limit, so that leaves out the $649 EF 50cc planes and the AW 50cc'ers, etc.

Give me some choices!
I'll sell you a NIB SD 30% YAK for $495 shipped. Orange/White/Black Checkers

Buy a GP 27% CAP 232 and a XYZ 50cc engine for $250 and you'll be happy. Add right thrust to the CAP.

Or you can just do your own research and find what you want.

Indeed. I was thinking the same thing. I find most people want the answer, instead of finding the answer. I do not exspect you to beleive me if I said a plane flies nice and you should by it because it fits your price range. The plane has to be an exstention of the pilot's personallity. The plane is useless if it does not suit the pilot's level of skill and precision. This website has a library of media and knowledge. Do the research, weigh the pros and cons, make a decision, and live with it.

No one said I wasn't doing research. But there are many many brands of arfs and kits not everyone is familiar with. For example, I had never really checked out the dawghouse r/c stuff, and now I have.

Again I was just trying to start a thread helping people find airplanes on a budget. Wasn't asking for performance evaluations, just cheap airframes. Looking for idea's, brands, etc. I happen to run into a good deal while I was at so I did buy zz's sd yak, and should I find even more good deals I will continue to purchase them lol. There are a few club members at my local field who are wanting to break into the 50cc market but just don't have very much money. I was trying to compile a list of aircraft they could buy on a budget to present at our next meeting. So if you know of any more, keep them coming!

BTW, that PAU extra is sold out... will it be released again? I was under the impression that reduced the price to clear inventory, didn't know they were bringing it back again...
